How to come to my office

My office is on the ground floor of Building no. 430, nearly across the main Mathematics Building (no. 425). It is number 17. See on the left: the entrance to the building, the stairs with the lobby on its immediate right, the first leg of the corridor and the second one with my door, the second beyond the fire door.

It is 10-15 minutes from the RER station “Orsay-Ville” along the RER B line, south of Paris. Click to see a map and itinerary

Hotel on the nearby Ecole polytechnique campus

There is a small hotel run by Ecole polytechnique on its very campus. It is cheap (around 25 EUR a night and 300 EUR a month) and will protect you from any distraction as the night life on the plateau is very calm… It is often necessary to book well in advance (especially in May and June). web

The university restaurant (CESFO) is OK. It is about 10€ (about half-price with a certificate that you are invited by the department).
